These experiences inspired Kathleen to transition from a career as a business owner, continue her education and follow her passion full-time. Kathleen has been a successful genealogist for twenty-one years, specifically focused on genetic genealogy.
Her drive to serve others, combined with expertise in DNA testing methodologies, has resulted in over 180 solved cases. Kathleen’s work has been dedicated to connecting adoptees and those with unknown parentage.
Lonn Rickstrom is a Veteran of the US Army and recently retired from General Dynamics after 32 years working in the Engineering and the IT Fields. Lonn attended Cochise College and Methodist University.
Lonn has had a passion for genealogy all his life. He has traveled to Sweden and Norway, meeting distant relatives and exploring where his great-grandparents immigrated from. Through DNA testing, he began using his analytical troubleshooting skills to solve family mysteries, the first being his unknown grandfather.
Lonn has solved over 100 adoptee and unknown parentage cases. Lonn is fascinated by advances in investigative genetic genealogy and loves the challenge of solving complex problems using science and research.

Shannon is a dedicated mother of three with a deep passion for genealogy that began after meeting her biological father at the age of 16.
That pivotal moment ignited a desire to explore her roots, especially given the limited knowledge she had about her paternal side. In 2017, she embarked on an exciting journey of discovery, diving into her family’s history.
With each new piece of information, her intrigue grew, turning her research into a story she couldn’t put down—like a compelling novel. Her extensive research experience and love for genealogy now fuel her passion to help others uncover and write their own unique family narratives.
Miles is an investigator with over 12 years of experience in the fugitive recovery arena, amassing over 4000 arrests during his tenure.
Recently, Miles graduated magna cum laude from Purdue University and has focused his firm on financial fraud investigations and risk management. Miles is an adoptee and actively works reuniting cases pro bono.
